Fires…
About twenty minutes ago, the air at our place got very, very smokey smelling and the sky got very dark. We went outside and felt a few drops along with seeing the falling ash. It is a very eery feeling right now in Black Foerst. It is so, so dry and hot, nerves are raw with anxiety and fear that a fire in our neighborhood could mean disaster. Needless to say, we are getting the cars packed and ready, just in case. Please pray for rain and for the winds to subside. Pray for the safety of the many brave firefighters battling the surrounding fires and for those displaced from evacuations.

I pray the fire will not come your way. I can’t imagine losing such beautiful places as Black Forest and your farm.
